About The Company:

A large and successful Fresh Produce business in North Kent.

The Role:

We are looking for a Finance Director with a proven track record within the sector.  This role is a part time position - for 2 or 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accuracy, timeliness and ownership of all financial information, insight and commentary
- Lead the strategic planning and financial management of the group and its subsidiary companies
- Management reporting, forward planning, budgeting/forecasting, ad hoc analysis for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
- Develop and maintain financial systems, procedures and internal controls
- Develop, coach and lead the Finance team and their capabilities to deliver greater value to the organisation
- Ensure legal and regulatory financial compliance

Desirable Skills:

- Fully qualified - ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Previous experience within the sector and at a FD/ CFO level
- Analytically minded and a natural problem solver
