Duffields is an expanding family owned animal feed manufacturing business operating near Canterbury, with three other sites throughout the country.

Due to retirement, we are looking to recruit a Full Time HGV Class 1 Permanent driver, to operate from our feed mill in Wingham, delivering bulk blown and tipped animal feed. Any successful candidate will need to be prepared to drive both artic and rigid vehicles for bulk feed, plus be prepared to also use a curtainsider trailer. Drivers will need to be punctual and fit, with a good attitude to Customer Service.

The ideal applicant must have the following:

• Be a holder of a Class 1 Licence for more than 2 years.
• Have in date CPC training
• Digi-card
• Have a good knowledge of the Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Essex and Hampshire Areas

The below is an additional attribute we would look for, but isn’t essential:

• have a valid moffett or forklift licence

Earnings are based on salary plus bonus plus overtime, with most drivers averaging around 15 – 20 hours per week.

In return we offer a £500 attendance bonus, company sick pay, 31 days holiday including bank holidays an extra day off for your birthday, plus additional non contractual benefits.
