Our Client, who is an international Insurer, is looking for a Software QA Tester to join their expanding team based in the London office. The purpose of the role is to work closely with the IT operations, business stakeholders, external software suppliers, and partners. The role involves ensuring the quality of their insurance software systems, including policy management and claims handling systems, during development and before release into live environments.
Main Duties:
* Develop a deep understanding of relevant insurance systems to create high-quality test collateral, test cases, and scripts for functional, user acceptance, regression, security, and load testing.
* Generate test data in compliance with GDPR regulations for sharing PII data outside the UK/EU.
* Provide accurate testing estimates for project planning and delivery.
* Ensure system test environment readiness and manage test execution, including resource coordination.
* Review outputs from delivery teams to ensure correct interpretation and delivery of project and test requirements.
* Publish test results, report defects, and manage defect triage and retesting.
* Support the delivery teams in deploying projects to production.
Essential Skills Required:
· Minimum 3 years QA experience within the Insurance Industry
· MUST have experience in Lloyds/ London Market and/or insurance business.
· Strong knowledge of IT to troubleshoot local issues and escalate complex problems as necessary.
· Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Proven ability to build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
· Self-motivated, pro-active, with a strong focus on results.
· Confident, professional, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Desirable:
· Experience working with various insurance or healthcare liability systems.
· Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
What you need to know:
· Hybrid working: Minimum 3 days in the office (London).
· Salary - £55,000 + bonus
