Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s specialist manufacturing maintenance team during an exciting period of expansion. Day to Day of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Role:

Responding to breakdowns by fault-finding both electrical and mechanical issues.
Performing routine, regular preventative maintenance in compliance with relevant regulations to minimise downtime.
Maintaining and repairing machinery
Fault finding as required and supporting on-site services.
Managing spares stock control, ordering parts, and liaising with suppliers.
Supporting various continuous improvement initiatives and documenting procedures.


Required Skills & Qualifications of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

3-5 years of relevant experience in industry repairing/maintaining equipment, fault finding & repairs.
Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, or HNC BTEC.
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
IT proficiency, including experience with Excel/Word and bespoke maintenance IT packages.
Desirable Skills:

18th Edition IEE wiring regulations.
