Introduction:
Are you seeking the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT & Network Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining IT infrastructure and network systems. You will work directly with peers and clients to ensure their technology needs are met efficiently and effectively, providing technical support and troubleshooting as required.

We are a small but progressive company who are keen to provide as much support to our team as possible to enable them to progress along their chosen career path. This will in turn enable us to grow as an organisation and provide a better level of service to our clients. Training is encouraged and provided from top tier training partners and manufacturers to self-study.

Key Responsibilities:
1. IT & Network Installation and Configuration:
o Design, configure, and install network infrastructure, including cloud, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
o Perform site surveys to assess and document network requirements and specifications.
o Support of Client devices to include Laptops, desktops, personal devices in Server and Cloud Environments.

2. System Maintenance and Support:
o Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring system availability and reliability.
o Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
o Provide on-site and remote support to clients, addressing technical issues and implementing solutions.
o Assisting clients both on-site and remotely using the very latest RMM, PSA and Security tools.
o Support for business messaging systems.

3. Technical Consultation:
o Collaborate with clients to understand their IT and network needs, offering recommendations and solutions that align with their business goals.
o Prepare detailed documentation and reports for system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting.

4. Project Management:
o Manage and execute IT and network projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
o Coordinate with other IT professionals, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

5. Security and Compliance:
o Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
o Cyber Security services to client devices using the latest assets and protocols.

6. Training and Development:
o Train clients and end-users on the use of IT systems and network infrastructure.
o Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, IT Technician, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
• Proficiency with network management tools and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
• All candidates will be subject to DBS and pre-employment checks.
• Clean UK Driving license is preferable.
