Our client seeks electronics experienced test operators for long term career opportunities. Working from drawings and set test procedures to check both PCB and final assemblies, you are responsible for checking for conformity in line with set parameters using semi-automated and hand/bench test equipment ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.

You will also be assembling and testing a range of products including Controllers, Internal Displays, HTCs and TFTs.

We are looking for an individual who possess the necessary skills required to ensure accurate and timely completion of test tasks. The ability to work in a team as well as being self-motivated is really important for this role.

Person Skills and experience 

• Attention to detail.
• Good hand skills and eyesight.
• Competence in hand assembly work.
• Experience in the handling of electronic assemblies (ESD, EOS, safe handling).- ESSENTIAL 
• Understanding of relevant procedures, standards, engineering and technical documentation.
• Experience of using common test equipment.
• Preferred - Experience of soldering and rework of soldering related faults.
• Preferred - IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
• Basic Knowledge of electronic component types and polarities.
• Knowledge of company systems and policies.
• A thorough awareness of any safety issues.
• Computer literate
