Position: Quality Assurance Technician (Night Shift)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10PM till 6PM. (1/2 break) 37.5Hrs a Week

Salary: £23,750 + 2,604 Night Shift Allowance (£26,354per annum)

If you have previous QA or food handling experience in food manufacturing environment, an understanding of HACCP, and an intermediate certificate in food hygiene, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manufacturing Oversight: Review manufacturing processes, plant hygiene, GMP, and conduct internal audits.
* Quality Inspections: Inspect raw materials and packaging deliveries to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Daily Audits: Perform daily GMP audits of the warehouse, factory exterior, and office block areas.
* Product Checks: Conduct regular checks on packing lines to ensure products meet specifications.
* Equipment Verification: Verify the functionality of equipment such as weight checkers and metal detectors.
* Label Accuracy: Ensure date coding and labeling of finished goods are accurate and meet customer requirements.
* Quality Procedures: Conduct traceable raw materials and packaging quality checks, develop technical reviews of supplies, and continuously check quality procedures like metal detection, weight checks, product seals, and barcode verification.
* Corrective Actions: Take immediate corrective actions for any deviations from specifications and record all tests in the Quality Finished Product and Check Weigh Forms.
