An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Administrator to work with a long-term client who values and supports their staff. You will work closely with the Transport Team to ensure that all transport activities are monitored and managed effectively, communicating with drivers on shift and updating them on working processes in line with company policy and procedures.
Position: Transport Administrator
Type: Part Time / Permanent
Salary: £11.44 an Hour
Hours:
* Tuesday - Friday: 1500 - 19:00
* Saturday: 11:00 - 15:00
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth transport operations and resource availability.
* Assist with vehicle maintenance and update compliance records.
* Keep service maintenance records updated.
* Compile reports on vehicle and driver incidents/accidents.
* Ensure Vehicle compliance with ULEZ, London Congestion Zone, and Dart Charge accounts.
* Follow procedures for parking tickets and HR notifications.
* Maintain Health and Safety compliance.
* Liaise with HR on compliance and Health and Safety.
* Implement CPC and Tachograph requirements.
* Monitor annual leave and driver hours.
* Provide feedback on performance and assist in driver recruitment.
Requirements:
* Clean driving license.
* Effective communication and organisational skills.
* Proven customer service experience.
* Flexible working attitude.
* Experience in a busy environment, ideally in transport.
* Proficient in Office 365 software.
* Certificate of Higher Education (required)
* 3 Years of administrative experience (required)
