Background of Role

A dynamic and engaging role within the Sport & Active Health team, supporting less active students and staff to be physically active.

To be successful in this role, you will bring a warm and engaging approach to interacting with people of various backgrounds, demonstrating a blend of confidence and understanding. You will lead on ensuring our range of physical activity sessions are appropriately planned, set up and delivered, with a focus on engaging those not otherwise participating in the university’s sport or exercise offers. You will have excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service and experience, ideally with a background in sport and/or physical activity delivery.

You will have some experience in delivering sport and/or physical activity sessions and you must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills.

Desirable requirements: A sport coaching or group exercise instructor qualification would also be advantageous.
