A new instruction for an established client specialising in the manufacture of fast moving consumer goods R & D Technical Services Support.

The role provides a superb opportunity to work within a dynamic R & D group across commercialised product lines and is ideal for an individual with a Science degree or similar related qualification.

Ideal Person/Skills & Knowledge Required:
Science degree
Ideally industry experience in healthcare or personal care products including formulation and testing.
Excellent communication skills
The ability to lead cross functionally, forge strong working relationships etc
Drive and enthusiasm
The ability to plan ahead and use own initiative
Excellent IT skills particularly MS Office with the ability to present information in forms tables and spreadsheets
Proactive solutions and problem solving abilities

Snapshot of The Position:
You will collaborate with a wide range of teams both internally and externally (3rd party manufacturers, raw material suppliers, laboratories)
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Leading the product development activities related to post launch maintenance business continuity projects such as qualification or alternative manufacturing sites, raw material sources & packaging
Define and conduct the product development required to support the qualification for the product change according to local, global quality and regulatory standards with the input of the relevant teams
Work with R & D process and qualify process changes by understanding the key process inputs and outputs

In addition, you will:
Establish working relationships with other functions within the business, ie. supply chain, procurement safety, quality and regulatory as well.
Be aware of confidential and quality technical agreements and their application to suppliers.
Be aware of potential quality issues and provide technical assistance

Package Details:
The role is presented initially on a fixed term contract for 1 year, with the potential to be extended thereafter
Location: on site Folkestone
39 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Free parking and products at the discretion of the company
Favourable salary/hourly rate available depending on experience
