Position: Trainee Management Accountant
Location: Chatham, Kent
Role: Permanent
Salary: £23,893 - 29,777 per annum (C1 points 6-19)
Hours: 37 hours per week

New Appointments Group are working with a Multi Academy Trust comprised of seven schools across Kent and Medway with nearly 4,500 pupils on the roll across these schools.
They have announced an additional role within the Central Operations Team. This role has arisen due to Trust growth, having an additional secondary school joining them in September 2024.
If you are looking to build your career in accounting or work within the academy sector this will be the right opportunity for you.
The successful candidate will need Maths & English GCSE or equivalent Grade B and above and AAT qualified or other equivalent qualification. You will need to have experience of working with purchase and sales ledger systems, payroll systems and financial systems.
Training Package - Fully funded CCAB qualification worth £27,000 over the period of the qualification (funded by the apprenticeship levy)
This is a full-time, 37 hours per week, permanent position, paid on NJC scale C1 points 6 - 19 (FTE £23,893 - £29,777).
The Trainee Management Accountant will undertake responsibilities as a member of the Central Trust Team to provide efficient and effective support to meet the Trust's core Finance responsibilities.
They will work closely with the Management Accountant, Finance Manager and Executive Finance Business Manager to deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
