We are working with a small, well-established device manufacturer to resource for a Manufacturing Operations Manager who will hold responsibility for developing and overseeing operations for both existing and new products.
As a process and quality driven candidate, you will be experienced in electronic manufacturing and be familiar with ISO standards and managing operations within these procedures. The business has grown exponentially and requires a candidate who can review current procedures and processes to continue with the expansion of the facility to support the continued growth. As a key member of the SLT, you will be involved with all aspects of operations to include:
* Administration and operation production planning, stock control and purchasing via an ERP system
* Achieve KPIs including delivery standards
* Manage purchasing for all components to include negotiation and relationship management with existing and new suppliers
* Implement improved inspection and functional test at goods inwards, and sub-assembly levels. Implement and manage test procedures
* Maintain QMS and operate to ISO9001:2015 procedures are followed
* Document SOP and WI and liaise with the Engineering team on DFM improvements, particularly at NPI stage
* Daily management and coaching of the existing manufacturing team and be involved in recruitment for additional staffing requirements - inline with the growth plans
* Reconfigure manufacturing operations for an efficiency deliveries
* H&S process development including risk assessments, electrical safety and COSHH assessments
