Hays recruitment are currently recruiting for a continuous improvement engineer for our client based in Medway. This is a full-time permanent position starting asap.
Monday to Thursday
8:15am - 17:00pm
Friday
8:30am - 13:15pm
Salary:
£30,000 - £45,000
Duties:
- Implement strategies.
- Support in the investigation of new machinery / technologies to streamline the processes and reduce costs.
- Assist manufacturing personnel in creating relevant SOP (Standards Operating Procedures).
- Maintain metrics, analyse results and develop improvement plans.
Experience / skills
- Engineering
- Lean manufacturing including tools and techniques
- Understanding with airbus tools
- Lead a team / workshop
- IT literate
- Communication
