Post: Registered Nurse
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Website: Dermatologyconsulting.co.uk
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Full time equivalent, but salary negotiable depending on experience and increasing with experience.
Post: Permanent full-time or part-time depending on personal circumstances.
Annual Leave: 29.5 days including Bank holidays (or pro rata) with an additional day accrued for each full year worked up to an extra five days (i.e. up to 34.5 days).

Dermatology Consulting is a consultant-led private dermatology clinic in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, which, since its establishment over 18 years ago, has gained an excellent reputation and was awarded Outstanding by the CQC at its latest inspection.

The clinic offers a full spectrum of medical dermatology for adults and children. It also offers a wide range of laser and medical aesthetic/cosmetic treatments. We aim to offer the most effect treatments derived from the latest dermatology research. The clinic is based in a beautiful Edwardian house furnished to high standards near the station, and is equipped with the best technology. The clinic has a good client base and our staff stay with us for many years.

Currently there are six consultant dermatologists, three consultant plastic surgeons and, because of our excellent reputation, we have an increasing demand for our services.

We provide continuous training and development to all our employees, ensuring that they are always given the ability to perform the highest quality treatments and are knowledgeable in all fields.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated nurses to join our friendly dynamic team. This will be a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate to learn a wide range of new skills in an expert environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be trained fully in our vast range of treatments and will learn from expert consultants, formal in-house training and external courses. You will learn the most up-to-date and evidenced based treatments in dermatology. We like to have a small “family” atmosphere with fun team-building events and dinners.

Previous experience in dermatology, lasers, phototherapy or paediatric nursing would be welcomed, but training will be given where necessary.

The clinic is open until 21.00 some evenings, so there is likely to be a least one late evening shift, but your hours will be set and regular. Occasional Saturdays will be required for which overtime pay rate applies. Some flexibility is required to cover annual leave and sickness. You will have all bank holidays off work.

A contributory pension scheme is available. Uniform is supplied. Private medical insurance is provided. The salary is competitive and will increase as you gain knowledge and skills.

Discounted treatments and products will be available for yourself and close family (after 6 months).

The clinic has a comprehensive infection control policy and PPE is readily available where appropriate.

Your Qualities: The successful candidates will be professional, enthusiastic with high standards of professional work and have excellent customer service. They should thrive on providing the best possible care to their clients. Pleasant telephone manner, excellent verbal and written communication skills, IT competency, good team work and good organisation skills are essential. The successful candidate will have the ability to multitask in a busy, fast paced environment while providing a calm, pleasant manner.

Duties will include:
