At The Best Connection, we are currently recruiting for a 7.5T driver for one of our waste management clients based in Folkestone.
Position Overview
As a Cat C1 Driver you will be operating a cleansing vehicle, collecting public litter bins. The shift would be starting at 2.00pm and finishing at 10.00pm, working a 40 hour week including every weekend. You would get two rest days during the week.
Pay Rates:
£12.50 - £15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
-Driving and operating a cleansing vehicle, collecting public litter bins.
-Report fly-tipping, graffiti and damaged bins to the depot
-Ensure the vehicle is tipped, washed and the cab is left clear of litter
-Accurately complete paperwork
-Report any accidents to the depot manager
Skills and Requirements:
-Valid C1 license
-Valid CPC and Digi cards
-Being a team player is key to ensuring collections run smoothly
-A can do attitude and strong time management skills
