Senior Maintenance Engineer



We are seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic team for a growing and innovative manufacturing company in Hoo. You will be responsible for the following:

* Reactive and planned maintenance
* Tracking and organising all PPM
* Keep the MaintainX system up to date
* Organise contractors and services for machine maintenance and track documentation
* Controlling spare parts
* Performing routine safety inspections
* Assisting in improvement projects
* Leading a small team of Maintenance Engineers



The successful candidate must have completed an Electrical Engineering or similar Apprenticeship with relevant experience and be 17th or 18th edition qualified. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and team skills, experience with Mitsubishi PLCs and HMIs, and strong analytical, fault-finding, and problem-solving abilities. A good knowledge of electric motors and pneumatics, along with basic mechanical skills, is required. You will should have experience working within a multi-skilled team and in a Safety-First culture. The ability to work independently and make necessary judgements is essential. It would be advantageous to be experienced with Fanuc Robotics Programming, Fanuc CNC Programming, ABB Robotics Programming, Siemens PLCs and HMIs along with working on manual mills and lathes.

* The working hours are: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 - 4, Friday: 7:30 - 12:30 and you will be part of an out of hours call out
