Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Relief Delivery Driver
Salary: £27,600 p.a.
Base Location: Rochester
Job Type: Full Time
Hours: 6am - 3pm (Monday - Friday)

A position has now become available for a Warehouse Operative / Relief Delivery Driver to join our friendly and experienced team based in Rochester. We are a long-established ‘family owned’ Fine Food and Drink importer and distributor supplying independent customers throughout the U.K.

The role would be estimated 70% Warehouse Operative and 30% Delivery Driver, covering existing drivers holidays or sickness, the delivery area covered would be within the counties of Kent or Sussex.

• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• We require the successful candidate to be a minimum age of 24 to facilitate our fleet insurance conditions
• Excellent customer service skills
• Full driving license with a maximum of 3 points.


Job Duties (not limited to):
• Accurately picking customer orders
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required
• Stock rotation
• Stock taking
• Checking goods delivered matches with the corresponding delivery paperwork
• Work in a safe, orderly manner considering the safety of others and following company health and safety policy and procedures
• Maintaining the warehouse to a clean and tidy condition
• Organising and loading of goods/deliveries into van
• Providing excellent customer service skills, and any issues are resolved competently
• Ensuring delivery documents are signed by the customer receiving the goods.
• Weekly vehicle safety checks are completed.
