Permanent CNC Programmer
Based Dartford
Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm with a 2pm finish every Friday.
Paid overtime

Overview:
We are working with a manufacturing company who are seeking a skilled CNC/Laser Cutting Machine Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be working with cutting edge technologies and will be responsible for creating and modifying programs that direct the CNC machines to produce precision parts.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and write programs for CNC machines based on engineering specifications
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, laser cutting, milling, or grinding
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure that components are produced accurately and efficiently
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain documentation of programs and machine settings

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming logic controllers (PLCs) for CNC machines
- Experience with tooling selection, including speeds and feeds optimization
- Familiarity with SigmaNEST, TruTops Boost or AutoCAD design software
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble components using CAD software
- Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is a plus
- Proficient in using hand tools for setup and adjustments
- Understanding of mill operations and toolpath generation
