Your new role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of property developments, refurbishments, and fit-outs. Your primary duties will include: - Managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are completed within budget, scope, and timeline.- Collaborating closely with clients, local authorities, universities, and commercial landlord\'s to understand their requirements and objectives.- Leading multidisciplinary teams, including cost management, project management, and building surveying professionals, to ensure seamless project execution.- Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitoring progress to ensure project milestones are achieved.- Conducting risk assessments and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.- Regularly communicating project updates to stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports on project status, risks, and opportunities.- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for future collaboration.- Upholding high-quality standards and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
What you\'ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the property development, refurbishment, or fit-out sectors. - Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies, with a track record of delivering successful projects. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members. - Exceptional leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives. - Solid organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a genuine passion for fostering a positive work atmosphere. - Degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture (preferred).
