We are currently working with a well established and privately owned business based in West Kent who are looking to recruit an Operations Manager. In this role you will be responsible for handling customer orders ensuring their efficient timely delivery and quality. Key duties will include:
- Overseeing production processes
- Creating and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedules
- Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control
- Managing and developing the team
- Plan the workshops efficiently to ensure the maximum utilisation of capacity using the management information systems
- Manage the resources of tools, equipment and other facilities required
- Provide good value for money and manage budgets and financial restraints where required
- Manage the logistics process, receipt, auditing, storage, and despatch of goods
- Assist the sales departments in preparing plans, proposals and quotations to existing and potential customers
The successful candidate will have experience from a service delivery environment managing technical and logistics teams and related processes. You will be KPI driven and commercially astute with a proven ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
