Mechanical Design Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for our client based in Sandwich, working as a Mechanical Design Engineer, working as part of a small team of engineers designing new and maintaining existing products.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Mechanical Engineering degree (2:1) preferred or equivalent
* Extensive experience in detailed product design
* Proven experience with simulation methods such as FEA, thermal and vibration analysis
* Owing to the nature of the work, a precision engineering background is preferred
* Experience in the design of complex mechanisms is beneficial
* Design for defence and similar demanding environments an advantage.

* 9 day fortnight (every other Friday is a non-working day)
