Metal Finishing Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for anyone with an engineering background who is looking to learn a new skill in their field. Our client in Ramsgate is looking for someone to join their team to become a Metal Finishing Technician. This is a good chance to become part of a leading Aerospace company.
Duties include:
* Undertake a wide range of tasks, encompassing Electroplating (Cadmium, Nickel, Chrome, Silver, Tin), Phosphate coating, Aqueous cleaning, degreasing, and masking components across various aircraft platforms.
* Assist the Metal Finishing Supervisor and Team Leader in meeting the daily operational needs of the Metal Finishing department.
* Support in monitoring chemical and consumable stock levels as necessary.
* Aid in specific aspects of machine maintenance, both preventative and scheduled, as required.
* Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement, ensuring and enhancing housekeeping in all areas by driving initiatives for ongoing enhancement.
* Assist in maintaining plant and equipment.
Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 08:00am - 16:30pm
Friday: 08:00am - 16:00pm

* 24 plus 8 days hols
