Social Care Learning and Development Advisor
  £21000.0 - £22000.0 per annum + £22K + £2000 car allowance

Salary: £22,000pa plus £2000pa car allowance + mileage cover

Work pattern: Part time (You will be working 3 days one week and 2 days the next-total of 5 days within 2 weeks)

Your new role
To primarily deliver Moving & Assisting training, First Aid & Management training to staff across the Trust. To deliver compliance and mandatory as identified. To oversee and have responsibility for the recording of training delivered.

* To deliver mandatory training, compliance and required training (for example health, safety & Well-being, SOVA, Infection Control, etc.) at all allocated homes.
* To assist in the design of mandatory, compliance and required training sessions as required.
* To attend training events as necessary.
* To support maintaining the Trust's training KPI's, liaising with homes and proactively following up failures to meet the identified KPI's.
* To assist the Learning and Development Manager in the drawing up of an annual Training & Development plan for each of your allocated homes.
* To contribute to divisional reports where required.
* To be able to carry out frequent travel nationwide.
* You will be regularly travelling to the homes in the locations below:

Sevenoaks
Seal
Tunbridge
Hastings x 2

What you'll need to succeed

* PTTLS L3 or equivalent training qualification
* L3 NVQ/QCF Health and Social Care or equivalent
* Substantial experience of working as a trainer in social care
* Proven track record in facilitating and delivery of high quality training.
* Understanding of the Health and Social Care training agenda
* Knowledge of the care sector, and in particular elderly residential care
