Production Operator

We are supporting a local manufacturing firm who are looking to employ a Production Operator.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing a variety of manufactured products. This is a support role for several different machines and areas, this may include working in the raw materials hall and being responsible for the filling of boxes with the correct material.

Duties:

* Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders.
* Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
* Ensure that equipment is maintained, with the help of the engineering department, in good and safe working condition.
* Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
* Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
* Contribute to waste management programs.
* To perform quality testing on manufactured compounds (made in the factory and by the R&D department)
* To document test results

Hours & Benefits:

* 4 on-4 off, 12 hour shifts rolling through days and nights
* 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
