Mechanical Technician



Our client is seeking a Mechanical Technician ready to take on the challenge of maintaining and improving sophisticated systems within a state-of-the-art facility. Your New Role:

* Reporting to the Mechanical Technical Lead, you will champion maintenance excellence, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
* Use your mechanical expertise autonomously to maintain, modify, and innovate, contributing to the site's seamless functioning.
* Uphold the highest standards of plant and facility maintenance, keeping in line with regulatory and company benchmarks.



Hours:

Monday - Friday

08:00am - 17:00pm



What You Offer:

* 5+ years in a mechanical role, with technical literacy and a problem-solving mindset.
* A precise approach to all tasks, ensuring nothing less than perfect operation.
* Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships and articulate solutions clearly.
* Self-motivation and excellent organisational capabilities to meet deadlines without supervision.



Preferred Qualifications:

* Familiarity with steam systems, welding, fabrication, and an understanding of PSSR are highly advantageous.



Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine and preventative mechanical maintenance across the facility.
* Efficiently diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
* Adhere to strict safety protocols, ensuring a hazard-free workplace.
* Participate in the engineering call-out rota, ready to address urgent mechanical failures.
