We are recruiting Factory Operatives on a permanent basis on a Night Shift for a manufacturing company based in Medway Towns.
Ideally have previous factory/ manufacturing experience, however full training will be provided.
Your main duties will include:
* Filing of castings/moulded parts using hand grinding tools
* Manual Handling
* Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping
* Band saw operation
* Completing the relevant job cards
You will be working 46 hours per week, 12:00 midday to 00:00 midnight over 4 days, Monday - Thursday before moving on to a permanent night shift 6pm - 6am over 4 days, Monday - Thursday in January 2024 when the higher salary of £28,000 will be applicable.
However initially you will receive training on days for approximately 3 weeks.
The company also offers overtime at an enhanced rate and there are opportunities for career advancement.
