My client is a small Charitable SME based in Tunbridge Wells, looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a 6 month contract to cover parental leave. Reporting into the Finance Director, this role looks to manage the transactional accounting process, including all associated monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and upkeep of the cashbooks. You`ll help ensure that various financial controls are adhered to, in line with in house policies and processes. You`ll prepare monthly management accounts and ensure HMRC and other statutory returns are accurately accounted for. You`ll assist on department budgeting processes, monitoring actuals vs forecast and highlight any anomalies promptly.
A formally qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or part qualified accountant is required. Applications from candidates from any sector background are welcomed, including candidates that may be looking to make this move as their first move into industry from practice. The role would require on site working but could be structured to a four day working week.
