We are currently supporting a Local Authority in the recruitment of a permanent Capital Project Manager to be based one day a week out of their North London office and the rest will be hybrid working.
Paying c£57,000 to £60,000/annum with some flexibility, on top of excellent holiday benefits and access to a local government pension, the role also offers:

Working under the Engineering & Surveying division, you will be responsible for delivering £7m worth of transformative projects in the Town Centre to promote active travel and improve the public realm in the first two years. Furthermore there is an expectation for future schemes to be delivered in the local area relating to the vast growth in the area. Opportunities to work in other town centres can be considered.
The person -
* Flexible, highly motivated and enthusiastic, inspirational to others aiming to bring about change for the better
* Effectively manage delivery of complex projects, within the time, cost, and quality envelope.
* Contribute to the co-creation of delivery strategies and the effective transition of projects from concept, through delivery to closure, and throughout their project lifecycle.
* Contribute to the annual business planning process and identify innovative approaches to improve Council performance.
* Project Management for assigned LBB capital construction projects valuing between £2-30m.
* PRINCE2 or APM qualification
* Preferably a degree in a property related discipline such as surveying, town planning and/or membership (or working towards such) of a professional body in the land and property discipline such as RICS or RTPI or other appropriate professional qualifications.
* Experience of working at management level in the delivery of Capital Schemes within a Local Government Environment
