IMI LTD are a family run business working in the lift industry to create bespoke architectural finishes to an exceptionally high standard.
We have a very busy office but a relaxed atmosphere, and it’s a great place to work.
Main Duties
Assisting the design manager with 3d models and detailed 2d drawings for design approval and manufacture.
Detailing progress and design status of drawings via project management software.
Material estimates for procurement.
Occasional site visits for surveys and photography.
Skills required
CAD - AutoCAD as minimum but 3D modelling skills in software such as Inventor/Solidworks highly advantageous.
Surveying – ability to take and record accurate measurements.
Teamwork – Communication and working in close partnership with other departments across multiple projects.
Data Input – Keeping project progress data up to date and accurate.
Ensure that company standards are complied with.
Ability to comply with tight deadlines.
Diligent and timely replies to queries and questions from customers and other departments.
Experience
Design within the construction industry – working as an Architectural Technician or CAD Technician in construction.
All walks of CAD engineering design experience considered.
Applicants with good experience in engineering/manufacturing/construction industries looking to break into a CAD role also considered.
