An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Warehouse Operative based in Dartford. The Warehouse Operative will maintain the smooth running of the warehouse, assisting in the receiving and dispatching of freight into and out of the Warehouse and yard and ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
* Picking, packing and labelling of goods
* Consolidating, repacking and weighing freight
* Loading and unloading of vehicles either by hand or using a manual pump truck, counterbalance forklift or ramp
* Accurately inputting data on computer based system, and updating information when required
* Communicating effectively with other departments
* Practising good housekeeping, and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse
* Adhere to company health & safety, and compliance
* Use of forklift (both counterbalance and reach).
Applicants should have/be able to demonstrate:
* Previous warehousing experience
* A willingness to learn and develop
* Basic IT skills
* Good attention to detail
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Current Forklift Licence
Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00.
