An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Store Person to join a growing company.

You will be responsible for managing and controlling stock required in the Stores, as well as maintaining and developing supplier relationships.

Main duties:
- To check all goods received are documented within defined procedures and refer any
problems relating to the delivery of inventory to the supervisor.
- To verify that the goods are not damaged and that the goods supplied reflect the detail
on the delivery note.
- To load/unload stock with the use of a forklift and place stock in the correct location.
- To assist the supervisor in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- To input delivery advice/good, received notes information on the computer to support
material reconciliation and job costing.
- To maintain the store areas to acceptable levels of cleanliness.
- To undertake stock checks and reporting.
- To assist with the annual stock take, reconciling inventory records with physical counts.
- To distribute supplies across the site.
- To pick stock from an approved materials pick list.
- To identify products required for the replenishment of stock to maintain adequate
stock levels so production operatives can carry out their work.
- To report any discrepancies in quality or quantity to the supervisor.
- To carry out the prescribed daily inspection of the forklift.
- Work within the guidelines as referred to in the company's quality manual.
- To carry out duties in accordance with statutory guidance, financial regulations, and
company procedures
- Ensure that all Health and Safety Instructions are followed and that all reasonable care is taken so as not to do anything that might endanger yourself or others; including the
requirement to wear and use Personal Protective Equipment as instructed.
- To report to the line manager any dangerous situations in the workplace or any perceived
shortcomings in Health and Safety arrangements.
