Due to the continued expansion and growth of a well established independent manufacturing company based in Sittingbourne, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Supply Chain Assistant/ Stores Person to join their small team in the Supply Chain Department. You will be picking items for orders quickly and efficiently and maintaining accurate levels and storage of stock.
You will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and your duties will include processing sales and works orders and picking component parts for the customer order using a BOM (Bill of Material).
Other duties include delivering the order with the relevant paperwork to the production team, packaging items for despatch and arranging for collection and delivery.
In addition to this you are needed to raise work orders/purchase orders, review stock when picking items and update as required. You will also need to participate in stock taking exercises when needed.
You will ideally be from a stores background, be fully IT literate and be looking for permanent employment.
The hours of work are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday with a 3:30pm finish on a Friday, 37 hours per week.
