A new instruction for a Waste & Component Stock Co-ordinator with a key manufacturing client within the area.

The Position:
The position of Waste & Component Stock Co-ordinator, reports into the HSE Manager and is responsible for controlling waste for the business, ensuring waste is handled in a compliant and efficient way, in line with company policies, whilst at the same time, working to reduce waste costs and drive sustainability improvements.
You will also be responsible for the stock control of bulk componentry, raw materials and finished goods.
Therefore, environment and sustainability feature high, as a key responsibility for this role and this should be evident with your application.

Attractive salary depending on experience
37 hours per week
Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 4:30pm, 45 mins break per day 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (can also buy/sell up to 3 per year)

Responsibilities:
Ensuring all requirements around storing materials correctly are met across the business
Reporting any waste streams and accurate recycling landfill figures monthly
Co-ordinate with waste contractors to ensure waste is removed from site efficiently and in line with waste legislation
Raise purchase orders and ensure invoicing and record keeping alongside waste contractors
Ensuring sustainability targets are adhered to
Stock checks, reconciling and updating system (SAP) re:
Kanban
Production order componentry
Consumables
Weekly/monthly Bulk stock
Tank and Silo
Cycle counts of Dispensary stock.
