We are recruiting a Final Assembly Operative to join a small and friendly team in the Final Assembly Department of a long established Sittingbourne based manufacturing company on a permanent basis.
Ideally, you will be from a manufacturing/factory background.
Your main duties will include:
* Receiving work orders and interpreting what is required; raising a query report if instruction is unclear.
* Assembling completed components according to specification.
* Assessing and testing products against specification-assessing if anything is missing; identifying products not to specification or faulty and raise failure report
* Polishing and cleaning products; making sure all items on order are included; disassembling and packaging large items
* Dispatching large/bulky items/products/goods; wrapping and boxing goods appropriately for dispatch; weighing non-standard items.
You will work Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:00, with a 15:30 finish on a Friday, 37 hours per week.
Benefits include company pension, 20 days holiday raising with service, on site parking.
