COO STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER

You and Your Team:
Reporting to the Senior COO Strategy Implementation Manager, you’ll lead the execution of COO Strategy and TOM initiatives as well as the implementation of Bank transformation projects into the COO environment across all product lines
Contributing as an SME in strategy implementation, as well as in a direct capacity, you’ll lead a number of strategy & TOM implementation initiatives & PFG Transformation change business readiness activities.
In your day to day role you will:
• Accountable for delivering the COO Strategy & TOM, executing business strategic change and optimisation in line with PFG Transformation teams
• Project management & implementation of key COO led strategic change in line with agreed TOM and initiatives
• Management & execution of business readiness aspects of all PFG transformation change impacting upon COO function, developing and communicating tailored change management plans for senior stakeholder groups.
• Provide reporting on COO strategic initiatives and business readiness activity
• Development of opportunity ideation into compelling & detailed business cases with associated analysis of commercial, customer & risk impact
• Analyses and designs business processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and exploit new technologies and automation
What you’ll bring to the team
As a Leader within the business you’ll provide expert level knowledge and leadership on COO strategy, TOM & business implementation. To be successful in this role, the following skills and experience is required:
• Previous middle management experience delivering strategy & change implementation within Financial Services coupled with sound understanding of Cards, Loans & Motor Finance legislation alongside emerging regulatory (FCA & PRA) themes
• Through Effective planning, organisation of work and prioritisation of deadlines you’ll balance long term strategic thinking with day-to-day COO activities
• Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret MI and use it for sound decision making
• Strong influencing and communication skills able to influence and build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation
• Able to work independently and objectively and as part of a team
