Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to be responsible for overseeing and coordinating engineering projects to ensure the successful implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, project management expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. As a Project Engineer will work closely with various departments, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to drive operational efficiency, improve processes, and deliver projects within defined timelines and budgets.

Duties include:
• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate and communicate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure project requirements are met.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of project goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies throughout project execution.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management and engineering.
• Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:
• Educated to degree level in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience working hands on with AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
