Electrical Design Building Services Engineer for MEP Consultancy in Kent

A pure building services and environmental engineering specialist consultancy are looking to recruit an Junior/Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their Kent office. The scope of their work includes residential (new build and refurb), hospitality, education, industrial and commercial (large international banking contract). Project values range from £1000 to £10 million M&E value.

Due to an internal restructure, the successful applicant will report directly to the Managing Director. You will be fully conversant with current standard and practices and have knowledge of the design of low energy buildings.

Duties and responsibilities will include the design of:

- Power and lighting
- CCTV
- Fire and intruder alarms
- Sprinkler systems
- Door entry systems
- Site Surveys
- Feasibility studies

You should hold a minimum of HNC/HND in Building Services engineering or equivalent and should display excellent communication skills and be a minimum of a corporate member of CIBSE.

To be considered for this role you will have held a similar position within a UK M&E Consultancy. You will be authorised to work in the UK without restriction and will have a minimum of 2 years UK M&E Consultancy experience.
