Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Sittingbourne, Kent for a Quality Inspector to join their busy logistics team
The role entails:
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Environmental systems and procedures
- Ensure the Vehicle delivering is processed via the POD, HPNA, NIR.
- Ensure The vehicles delivering are correctly strapped rejecting those that do not conform.
- Ensure all loads are visually inspected for contaminants non-conforming bales or loads are rejected and alerts are raised.
- Ensure the driver is directed to the correct area for Unloading.
- Ensure the area in maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
- Maintain the computer records.
- Support the weighbridge and waste operation by cross training.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Applicant should be physically fit, able to work either on their own or as part of a very close-knit team
- A driving licence is required for this position
Other details:
- A rotating pattern of Days and Nights on a 4 on 4 off rota
- Regular blocks of 18 days leave
- £12.62 per hour
- Overtime opportunities
