We have a brilliant opportunity for a Warehouse Night Supervisor to join a fast moving distribution company.

The role is to support and assist the management team, ensuring the site runs smoothly and to achieve financial targets.

Responsibilities

* Plan and manage the staffing levels
* Monitor levels of consumables and conveying this information when supplies are low
* Complete relevant checks on equipment; contact the relevant contractors to resolve any issues that affect performance
* Conduct return to work interviews
* Assisting in the recruitment, training and development of individuals and the team
* Conduct appraisals and monitor performance with employees
* Looking for continuous improvements to achieve KPIs
* Provide thorough handovers to supervisors and staff
* Carry out daily team briefings
* Completing end of shift searches, in being a witness and be of support when required

You must have previous experience working in a warehouse environment, in a supervisory role and used a Warehouse Management System.
