Our client are seeking a skilled and dedicated ATU Technician to join our team. As an ATU Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of Automatic Transfer Units (ATUs) used in automotive applications. You will work with a talented team of engineers and technicians to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Duties include:
• Assemble and test ATUs according to established procedures and specifications.
• Perform functional and performance tests on ATUs, ensuring they meet performance requirements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with ATUs, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical problems and improve product performance.
• Document test results and maintain accurate records of all testing activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and reliability.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
• Technical certifications or vocational training in automotive technology, mechatronics, or a related field would be a bonus.
• Previous experience in ATU assembly, testing, or a similar role within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical understanding of automotive systems and components.
• Proficient in using hand tools, measurement instruments, and test equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in an industrial setting.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
