The Role

Are you a trained NHS 111 Health Advisor looking for the opportunity to work from home in Ashford, Ipswich, or Norwich? Are you available for 12 to 37.5 hours per week including some weekend work?

We are looking for experienced Health Advisors to join our rapidly growing network of home working colleagues to start training in July 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great team with base salaries between £22,426 and £24,675 per annum (pro rata), and with earning potential up to £14,000 in your first six months via our weekend cost of living bonus. A fresh start and a high-quality onboarding programme are on offer, and we proactively encourage and support our Advisors to quickly progress through the ranks as a Coach, Service Coordinator or Team Manager.

We provide fully paid training and career development opportunities, the NHS pension, and a competitive pay framework to progress through. This role will be home based with training and support from our nearby care-coordination centres; it’s the way forward at IC24.

We are Integrated Care 24 (IC24), and we are pioneers in homeworking support for NHS 111 Health Advisors. We are a not-for-profit Social Enterprise that’s committed to sustainable and inclusive delivery of primary care services; We care about our people and the patients we serve. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care, and secondary care support services.

Location Home working, with training and support from our Ashford, Ipswich, and Norwich Care-Coordination Centres

Hours Available We have full and part time opportunities ranging from a minimum of 12 hours to a maximum of 37.5 hours per week, covering a 24/7 operation

We are confident we can find a rota that works for you but please be aware since we are predominantly an out of hours service most of our shifts involve weekend and evening work and shift patterns can vary. For your wellbeing and the security of our services, you will have to meet our stringent homeworking criteria; but don’t worry, most people do, and we have a growing network of specialist homeworking colleagues to support you.

Additional hours may also be available in times of peak demand.

Training

Applicants must be available to start training Monday 3rd July 2023 or Monday 17th July 2023

What’s in it for you?

Salaries start from £22,426 per annum for daytime rotas, pro rata
Enhancements are paid between 20:00 and 06:00 hours and for all hours on weekends, with further enhancements on bank holidays
For applications accepted before 15th June, your first 6 months of weekend work will attract an enhanced rate of pay (a cost-of-living bonus of £10ph between 8am and 8pm Saturdays and Sundays)
Additional annual leave above statutory minimum based on service
