Forklift & Machine Operator
Swale – must be a driver with own transport due to location
Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week, must be flexible with hours
c.£26k + overtime

A great opportunity has risen with our client based in Sittingbourne who are currently seeking a Forklift Driver & Machine Operator to join their team. Shifts tend to be 5.30am - 2pm but there must be some flexibility dependent on demand – you may finish earlier/later at times.

Duties to include:
• Working in a busy and targeted food production environment working in a variety of temperatures season dependent
• Operating forklifts and machinery
• Making sure the correct stock is provided for production
• Accurately record all stock used
• Any other duties required

The successful candidate will have / be:
• A valid counterbalance licence – inhouse licenses not accepted
• Solid experience in a relevant role within a factory/production environment, ideally within food production although other similar environments will be considered
• Machine operating experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Competence with IT with experience using stock management systems
• Happy to work in a physically demanding role in varying temperatures
