We're seeking a reliable and customer focussed Latent Defects Manager to join our Property Services team.
About the role
We'll look to you to ensure that all obligations for managing all suspected latent defect cases are met and manage the day to day liaison with contractors / Specialists regarding high profile cases, maintaining a close scrutiny of any recommendations that arise.
Working closely with the Principal Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing project risks whilst holding all parties to account in order to drive excellent levels of service delivery.
Other key duties will include:-

Supporting the Principal Project Manager to ensure all necessary project management documentation is in place and monitored, tracked and maintained throughout the life of the project.

Managing project risks and opportunities which could impact cost/time/reputational damage and deliverability of the project. Agree the most suitable forms of communication with stakeholders for each project, setting clear expectations and accountabilities.

Implementing the agreed resident communication strategy, draft appropriate communications (formal and informal) and act as a main point of contact for residents in regards to progress of any issue.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will hold a Membership of CIOB, SIBSE, or CIPS, and / or a relevant level 4 or above qualification. With a Project Management qualification/Prince2, you'll have extensive experience of project coordination and administration. You'll also have a strong understanding of Property and related assets and demonstrable experience of case management, including the co-ordination of the investigation into issues, providing analysis or options for resolution and then progressing outcomes of an appraisal to completion.
