A highly successful manufacturing company located in Medway Towns is looking to recruit a 3.5 Tonne Van Driver on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Distribution and Logistics Manager you will be responsible for transporting goods between the company sites located in Medway.

Your duties will include:

* Responsible for collection of goods between the sites.
* Loading and unloading of the van between the two sites, counting and ensure correct stock accuracy for all goods loaded.
* Required to pick and load the goods using the reach truck or counterbalance.
* Responsible for the safe and secure transporting of goods.
* Planning the route most efficiently with the Goods In Team leader.
* Accountable for Van maintenance and service records to ensure compliant and road worthiness.
* Required to help goods in team to load and unload import and exports delivery/collections as and when needed.
* Record daily, weekly, and monthly mileage and fuel usage.
* Report any stock or vehicle issues to the Team Leaders immediately.
* Customer service skills - dealing with other departments.

You will have a full Driving Licence with a maximum of 3 points and no disqualifications for insurance purposes.

You will have previous experience and be computer literate.

It is desirable to hold a forklift licence and have stock control experience.

Hours of work are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Thursday and 8:30am-4:00pm, Friday.
