Warehouse Operative
£24,500 + overtime available
Maidstone
7.30am – 4.30pm

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen with our client’s family run business. If you’re a hardworking, reliable, and committed warehouse operative, then this could be the position for you!

Duties include:
• Full responsibility for all the picking, packing, and palletising of orders, and assisting with worldwide orders as necessary.
• Providing weights and dimensions as needed.
• Helping load and unload goods onto carriers and containers.
• Quality control of export goods and reporting any issues.
• Helping maintain accurate stock levels, counting stock as required, providing estimated timescales, and meeting set deadlines.
• Working as part of a team, communicating, and assisting as required.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

The successful candidate will have/be:
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• The ability to lift heavy goods, and a practical, hands-on approach.
• Forklift license is desirable, but not essential.
• Accurate, with good attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and comfortable with numbers.
• Flexible, and able to work individually or as part of a team.
