My client is a leading, brand name employer now looking to recruit a Finance Manager following a period of prolonged success and increased market share.

Working within a central finance team, this role will work with a Divisional Finance Director to provide both technical interpretation and sound commercial judgement across a variety of business areas.

- Assisting in development of financial strategy
- Preparation of P&Ls and forecasts, with enhanced reporting and analysis
- Ensure corporate reporting requirements and deadlines are met
- Preparing and monitoring various financial models
- Development of statutory and management accounting controls
- Improve systems, internal processes and models for financial control

Applications are sought from fully qualified candidates, with a strong preference on a practice trained background and/ or a large, complex industry background. Working closely with senior manager/ board level stakeholders, this role will challenge and test the successful candidate`s technical and commercial abilities.  First class presentation and communication skills are therefore required, as the ability to credibly hold court with senior figures is of paramount importance.  Financial modelling with advanced excel skills would be hugely advantageous.
