Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Paddock Wood for an LGV 2 Driver/ Labourer.
The role entails:
- The collection/ removal of all types of waste from single items to bulk waste
- Heavy lifting/ manual handling
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Valid LGV 2 Driving licence, digital tachograph and cpc
- Physically fit as heavy lifting is involved
- A background working within waste management, or a similar role is advantageous
- Ability to work both inside/ outside
Conduct requirements:
- Confident communicator
- Be a reliable and trustworthy member of the team
- Be positive and proactive in everything you do
- Strong attention to detail
This role is very physically demanding with minimal driving involved and has the opportunity of a full time position after the qualifying period
Recently qualified LGV 2 drivers are welcome to apply for this position.
The rate of pay whilst working through the agency is £15.00 per hour + holiday pay
For the successful candidate our client can offer an immediate start and the working week will be Monday to Friday starting at 06:30 hours+ (NO WEEKENDS OR BANK HOLIDAYS)
