Job: Claims Handler
Salary: £50,000
Location: Hybrid Essex/ Home
Lloyds Broker looking for a Claims Handler to deal with a caseload of Professional/ Financial Risks.
Classes of business will include Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, Employers Liability as well as some Medical Malpractice and Cyber.
* Assisting the insured in presenting their claims to Insurers
* Assessing available cover and whether the circumstances meets the notification threshold
* Advise and update clients about relevant events and discussions during their claim.
* Assessing the status of claims with clients, insurers, recovery agents and solicitors.
* Build and maintain your market, insurance, legislation and other technical knowledge.
* Efficiently running claims and keeping the system updated with all relevant information.
The successful candidate should have previous experience within a similar Claims role with good knowledge of professional/ financial risks.
Role will be a mixture of working between Chelmsford, London and home based.
