Your new company
A successful house building main contractor with multiple schemes on site across Greater London, Working on a mixture of private, soho and shared ownership projects. Schemes are typically in the 50 to 100 unit range with the majority of work in the South London area. Due to a continued flow of new works secured they now seek an experienced site manager to oversee a new flagship scheme in the Orpington area. The project is a traditional build apartment scheme block comprising of 60 units plus some commercial, Due on site imminently this is a newly created role and no.1 on site.

Your new role
As senior site manager you will be no.1 on site overseeing all day to day site operations reporting to a visiting contracts manager. You will work from a master programme amending as necessary, co-ordinating and managing subcontractors, liaising with clients representatives, overseeing health and safety, managing the site team and culture and monitoring costs in support of the project QS. You will be stand alone site manager for the groundwork and construction phase of the scheme.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced site manager who has delivered several new build residential schemes as number 1. new build apartments, housing association experience and experience of working for a main contractor are all favourable but not essential. You will be looking for a new long term perm role in the South east and be available within the next 6 - 8 weeks after notice.
