Machine Operator
Medway
£21k - £25k – Please note that the starting salary will be for the day rate. Experience within the food manufacturing industry will allow you to potentially start on the higher salary.
4 on 4 off – Day Shift and Night Shift Opportunities.

My client, a successful and established organisation, are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Machine Operator to join their thriving team on a permanent basis, with both days and night shifts available meaning you effectively only work 36.25 hours a week!

The ideal candidate will be hardworking and fully computer literate, with a high level of attention to detail, previous experience working on machines, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload!

Duties include:
• Prepare machines and set them to production recipes.
• Prepare all raw materials so they’re ready for production.
• Stacking all finished products, and any other manual handling required.
• Resolve any stoppages with machines.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Any other duties required.


The right candidate will have / be:
• Experience of plant and machine operations.
• Experience working within the food manufacturing industry.
• A strong team player.
• Computer literate.
• Helpful, reliable, and confident.
• Quick and methodical.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Flexible and proactive.
